spodumene glaze

Hi, All-

Years ago I enjoyed using a Cone 9/10 reduction glaze just called =
"Spodumene" that was very popular in the 60's and 70's. I thought it =
was the best looking speckled tan matt glaze around when used over a =
dark clay. But I've long since lost the recipe, and the archives =
didn't turn up the formula. Anybody have one that might be it? =
Many thanks.

Happy potting to all,
Hannah Brehmer

I have a friend, whose favorite glaze is called "Spodumene", don't know if it's the same one, if you don't get any takers, I can ask him. A consideration, that you will have to deal with is that the chemical spodumene from the 60's and 70's isn't the same stuff available today, so you may have additional modifications to make to get the same look. He has some old spod. that he uses (at least until he runs out....)
