I was wondering what's the best video and/or book I can use to teach myself
wheel throwing.. I dabbled in it last year and I have a wheel.. no kiln but
that's ok..

Looking forward to everyone's responses.

tammy-
the best one that i used was the robin hopper series.. making marks i
think it is called.... it is always advertised in Ceramics monthly... i
used the video and stopped it many times to see hand positions ect. but
practice and don't be too invested in the outcome at first is the best
bet....remember it is just mud after all....
BEFORE you start practicing make sure your wheel and your chair ect
are all at the proper height ect thereby saving yourself alot of body
aches and pains..
.one thing that i use with my classes is the mini wheel
(www.microdynasty.com}..it is really fun to start with and it gives you
good feedback right away....

If your library has a book by Charles Counts, check it out. That's the book
that helped me the most when I was learning, over 20 years ago.
