software; a role for clay decorating!

Hi Folks,

Just too many freaking hats! I have run my own business for many
years now so I was well aware of the phenomena - the navigation
to every new level seems to be rewarded with another hat or two
to wear.

Over the last 3 years I have developed software that reads
vector graphic images (EPS) and takes artist input then generates
a series of files that will direct a simple 2 axis machine fitted with
a couple of inexpensive tools in all the steps necessary to transfer
images to nominally flat clay surfaces - One tile or many - simple image

or complex - one polygon or hundreds of thousands.

And it's a genuine artistic process, not a printing or decal process,
or I'm crazy. It's Kurt Wild rendered in servo's and belts - better
moving, and better looking too.

I thought this would be exciting stuff, in fact I KNOW this is damned
exciting stuff. But I'm back in the woods trying to do everything
myself
and even with the significantly reduced decorating labor there are all
the
standard issues of tile making, gas kiln firing, color development,
image
processing, and now sales/marketing. These last caps don't fit well up
here.

There must be somebody out there in ClayArt Land with a situation
looking
for a versatile decorating solution? I'm hiding out in the beautiful
Leelanau
Peninsula village of Northport, Michigan. Where are you?
