Maybe rat experiments are a lot like jury fees. The people willing to pay them for the "privilege" of paying another fee think they are just great when they get in. So the pleasure of being told they are great trains them to do it again. And again. etc. Still just a rat. I had to do rat genetic experiments in high school. That is when I decided I didn't want to be a bio-engineer. I really did want to cure diabetes, but I really did not want to snap they little heads of to get to their tisticulars...Good thing I was also taking pottery...
