Hello everyone-

My very good friend Gogi Millner-Adler who has run
the Cornish Hill Pottery in Wolfboro New Hampshire for
the last 20 years could use some help. This is not so
much about money as it is about support, emotionally
and spiritually, and if anyone lives near Wolfboro, a
little personal help.
She doesn't know i'm doing this, and she will kill
me when she finds out, but i'm sure afterwards, she
will be fine. I have come to this list because my
nickname for Clayart is compassionart. I can't think
of a better group to make this appeal to.
Gogi is going through a terrible divorce, and it is
threatening her sanity and well being. I am not going
to divulge many details, but suffice it to say that
things are not going well. If you want to know more, e
mail me off clayart.
What she could use is the support of the clay
community, kind of hang in there, we're here. And if
anyone lives close, she could use immediate help if
you could donate a few hours at the pottery. Just for
a short while. She has many new things to deal with,
lawyers, accountants etc which takes up time away from
the studio, and she just discovered her bookeeper and
hired teenage help are no help. Lurkers unite! This
would be an excellent time to offer your services.

visit her site at Cornish Hill Pottery.com (I'm
pretty sure). She is a highly talented potter who is
in danger stopping due to circumstances way beyond her
control.

or, and i hesitate to do this though i think it will
help, e mail her with afew words of encourgaement,
(not everyone at once! that's my fear). at
gogi919@hotmail.com.

Again, if anyone can go there and help, I would
really appreciate it. Being 3000 miles away, I feel a
bit helpless here.

Thank you all-

I would support anyone going through a divorce: it is a dreadful experience.
However: how are we to sympathisze if you say it is a total secret that you
are telling us? (And I do not live in NH so can't just drop in as a
surprise)
