make sure you know were the coil is broken.
let us know.
often the break is inside the channel to the outside,
or often the break is at the coupling.
i have heard people complain that
the itc did not work..and lo and behold
the coil was broken at the connection.
no itc can help there.
a dirty connection will arc and break.
we need more information.
many find the on off or long
firing of the kiln to cause the break.
crystal glazes are hard on kilns. period.
give us more information.
some of the kiln manufacturers are going
crazy with people firing crystal glazes, then
complaining the kiln is no good.
big problem. i sure do not have the answer, but
know that itc sure will extend the life of coils, big time.
if applied correctly.
