If having something shipped as may be damaged in falling off
the conveyor belts of the UPS...one does well to write, or
have the Shipper wirte, in BIG Roman 'caps':

..."HAND CARRY ONLY"...

In theory, it is supposed to cost $5.00 extra...sometimes
they charge it and sometimes they don't. Have it writ also
on the waybill or forms as well.

This may also be found to simplify insurance claims in the
event of damage.

In effect, it admonished them to use a Hand-Truck and not
put the thing on the conveyor belt, from which it will fall
to the cement floor or upon some other hapless parcel.
