Hi, Bill,
I'm surprised you're not getting crystals in reduction.
I fired three times in the last week, all in reduction,
and got some nice crystals. One of the folks in the
workshop went home with some peach bloom crystals
and someone else got some really nice oxbloods.
Of course, I may not be reducing as much as I think I
am...
But if zinc volatilizes out of the glaze, hmmm, that
gives me an idea for growing zincite crystals at home...
