After a quiet five year period of studio work I am travelling to the
USA again towards the end of this year.
During the nineties I conducted about thirty hands-on workshops, in
the USA, Australia and UK, which built adventurous and confident use
of every glaze ingredient you can find.
A direct, relaxed, and easy approach without scales, sieves, and
calculations is guaranteed to give a surprising and and endless
variety of results.
In addition some sessions are given on the use colour and texture in
surface imagery and decoration.
Have a look at some of my articles in old editions of the New Zealand
Potter Magazine if you can find them.
OR
have a look at the web site to get an idea of the approach and
outcomes of what one Californian woman described as *circus* glazing
and locals here as *gumboot* glazing

I am interested in preliminary expressions of interest by e mail from
groups and schools who might consider a two day workshop in November
or December.
I might also be available for short day or evening sessions if they
can be scheduled in between.
please forward this message if you know of a possible interest in your area.
Thanking you in advance.
