Hi
I know that there are some low fire clay bodies that will vitrify around
Cone 1-4. But since there are none that get close at Cone 04, is there any
benefit to using a low fire clay at Cone 04 compared to a stoneware clay at
Cone 04. I believe they will similar porosity (>20%) so what are the
benefits of using the low fire clay?
Thanks

Hello Cindy
( My chosen American supplier)
In V.C.'s handbook as well as in Behrens's glaze projects there are kinds of claybodies
that vitrified in low temp. Why using them?
When you have a low firing kiln and dream of porcelain. Like I drink coffee with Sweet
and Low and dream about my relatives (home) in L.A.
