Hi all,
( See beelow...)
These are scams to get your credit card and banking info and are not =
from 'e-bay'.
This one looks very lame...many look VERY convinceing, and may have all =
the logos and colors and buttons just like 'e-bay'...you could NOT tell =
them apart.
Anyone as has sold or bought items on 'e-bay' may get these.
They seem to be coming from Greece and Romania, or so I am told, as I do =
not have a way to trace ip numbers myself.
Anyway...note spelling of the word 'sistem' in the header...this one was =
really 'bad' work.
Also the sent date is several months off ( I just got this message a =
minute ago...)
Similar messaged purport to come from 'pay-pal', and from =
'micrososft'...and may look very authentic. They are not.
Tell them nothing, do not give them any information.
Likely it is dangerous to even click on the U.R.L. out of curiousity ( =
like I did when I first was getting these) as they can install a key =
stroke monitor, tracking programme or similar to help them get the =
information eventually anyway.
I did not give them any information, but they did get my passwords and =
had gotten into my e-bay account, likely from putting something into my =
computer from my having merely clicked on the U.R.L. in their message =
which takes one to the forms they want you to fill out.
If you wish to review or update your account information with any =
service, contact that service from their home-page, or, use their site =
to do your up-dateing or reviews.
Anyway...just thought I'd pass this along...lots of scams, and lots of =
'e-bay' and other people falling for them.
