leach tested glazes

As many of you know, I have a section of my web site devoted to posting
glazes recipes that have been leach tested. I have recipes from all
temperature ranges--earthenware, mid-fire, and high fire--although the
majority are mid-fire. I have now completely revamped this part of my
site and added a couple new recipes. I am also in a much better
position to promptly expand it as people send me new recipes and
results. I have to admit that I fear I lost 2 or 3 that were sent to me
over the last year or so and I never got them posted. If that happened
to one you sent, please resend it and I promise to do better this time.

For those unaware of this effort please visit:

and take a look at what is there. It gets a lot of traffic--I have a
feeling a lot of teachers are sending their students there.

Also I would restate my offer to post results from anyone who is
willing to share theirs. All I need is the recipe, a brief description
of how it was fired and the leach testing results. If you have a photo
of the glaze on a pot or test tile that is even better. Send them to
me off-list at:

John
