reaching into a teapot

If you can't fit you hand into the teapot, how are you going to grab all
those tea leaves settled on the bottom? I don't fancy washing them down the
drain or picking them out of the sink strainer. I just want to be able to
reach in when things are cooled down and scoop out the leaves and then rinse
the pot under the tap and put it in the rack where it can air dry. Simple.
No soap, no dish towel.

And if someone actually wants to scrub out the inside of their teapot, what
do I care? For functionality, I want to be able to scoop out those pesky
leaves. And my English husband agrees. He'd have to plunge the sink if it
blocked anyway.

Then again, if all you use are tea bags...just skip the teapot and make it
in the mug in the microwave;-)

I'm staying up late to keep my daughter company - she's studying for exams.
I'll still wake up at 5am so if I get some work done now, maybe I will have
time to take a nap tomorrow... I do have some teapots waiting for assembly.
And they have BIG lids too.
