Sabra, the book that John Hesselberth and Ron Roy wrote, Mastering Cone 6 Glazes has a good variety of recipes to follow, plus its well written to be easily understood. That might be a good starting place. However, there are many other books, and the Clayart Archives have recipes with people's opinions of them. Hope that is some help. Its so hard to narrow down the choices because we use different glazes for different clays and different results.My favorite glaze is on the piece that just came out of the kiln and looks better than I expected.
