They are in a minority, aren't they? How about Andrew Hazelden a former
pupil of Mary Wondrausch who also worked with Alan Caiger-Smith at
Aldermaston before setting up his own studio?
Richard Godfrey should also be in there as a contemporary maker with his
really "loud" work... in a positive sense of the word.
and others off the top of my head are:
Daiva Kojelyt=E9-Marrow
Jane Cox
Owen Thorpe
Ken & Val Shelton
David Constantine White
Daphne Carnegie (sp?)
Richard Wilson
Rob Bibby
Sylph Baier (although I heard she has moved over to stoneware?)
Gaynor Reeve
and last but certainly not least our very own Morgan Hall, whose flamboyant
and exuberent work echoes the self-indulgence of rococo to wonderful
effect.
Not all in the traditional slipware tradition, but definitely earthenware
users/makers. I have not included tile-makers.
