Hi,
I am a part of a group starting a co-op in South Lake Tahoe. I had a question....We were planning on giving all members keys, but we don't know everyone very well. So I was wondering do you worry about your equipment being stolen by someone who can come in the middle of the night and just clean you out? How do you handle an all access studio?
Thanks for your time,
Stacey Ballard

Our co-op pottery studio has several spots available for potters and/ or
artists. Monthly rent includes shelving, wheel space (bring your own) and
access to electric kiln. Plenty of table work area and glazing room are
present. Members receive their own keys and have unlimited access to
building.
We are located in Haddon Township, NJ, just across the river from
Philadelphia. Please call Debby with questions.

I guess we never really worried about that. Everyone brought their own
wheels and materials to the co-op. The kiln was jointly purchased from the
original studio owner by the original co-op members. We have grown
gradually to include painters and a glass bead maker. We have each other's
phone numbers and addresses and I guess we trust each other to maintain the
studio as their own personal space. Even as we let new people join, I
don't think we worried about theft. Debby
