Expanding on this, you can make a lid that will fit anything out of
heavy plastic and bungee cord. With the kind of bungee cord that comes
on a spool and heavy enough plastic, you can make not only a lid that
will fit anything but you can stack them somewhat too.

Been doing both for a long time.
