I am planning on replacing my kiln with a natural gas, downdraft car kiln
12-16 feet stack space.Does anyone have any input based on their experience?
I have started to investigate Geil and Bailey. Is there a kiln builder in
the Los Angeles area that can construct one on site?

I'd appreciate any help with the project.

Hi Don,

At College of the Desert in Palm Springs area, we have 2 Geils. They are
great kilns. Only problem, Paul Geil is usually backordered and you may
have to wait months. Come out to the desert and see our kilns.
Unfortunately, our summer program has been cancelled this year because of
the education cuts, If you can wait till the end of August (Fall term
begins) and able to tolerate temperatures that may hit 120 +, come on out.
We would be delighted to show you our facilities at the school.
