Dear Lawrence Ewing,=20

Thanks for that information.

Just for the record, am I correct to say that a high Surface Tension =
tends to cause a glaze to ball up or have a very high meniscus?

Secondly, is this effect made more prominent if the glaze has a low =
viscosity?

Thirdly, how are these two qualities related to the ability of a =
Silicate Melt to wet a Ceramic Substrate? Do glazes with low Surface =
Tension and low Viscosity adhere to a clay better than those with high =
Surface tension and high Viscosity.

Fourthly, how does increasing temperature alter the values of each of =
these factors.

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis.
