I use the red tipped glass hummingbird feeder tubes that have a ball bearing
in them and I am not experiencing any leaking...EXCEPT when there is an
incomplete vacuum in the feeder; such as when the cork and feeder have not been
cleaned, or there is a pin prick size hole in the feeder somewhere.
In order for the feeder to leak, air has to enter somewhere.
