Hi Lily

I am glad you are pretty fine and feisty up there in Constableville. I =
am
writing this to the list but addressed to you because I know you brush =
on
glazes a lot. =20

My first question is can I use Veegum T to make a glaze more brushable?

If I cannot, is the answer that I should go and get myself some CMC?

In either case, is there some way to calculate how much to add to a =
glaze
that is already mixed?

I have the idea that for CMC it should be mixed in boiling water a day =
ahead
and then that mixture is used in place of water for the glaze. But I am =
not
sure that is really true.

I was thinking, for the Veegum T that I should get an idea of an =
approximate
amount looking at the % of bentonite generally added to recipes and then
adjust that proportionately by the amount of glaze I think I have in the
bucket. The glazes I will be working with include Mastering Cone 6 =
Glazes
"Raw Sienna".

I will really appreciate your help.

And may peace prevail (note to the moderator: I do not consider this =
line
to be off topic)
