Ok, one more promotion for our up comming event here at the Nottingham
Center in San Marcos, CA.
We got rained out for the pit fire after NCECA ( we still had a
fantastic party) , but we have everything in place for a really fun
party and pit fire on saturday July 5th. and you all are invited.
We will start decorating pots mid afternoon, and start loading the big
pit a few hours before sundown.
As is our custom; we will light off the giant pit at sunset, and then
proceed with the bbq.s and the party.
We will provide bbq.s , munchies, beer and wine, and lots of other fun
stuff ( like music, videos of potters in the main studio, campfire
rings, and lots of good comradery with artists and such. Sunday morning
we will have coffee, tea, and beagles for the unearthing of the pit.
There is on site camping, some RV hookups, and lots of inexpensive
motels nearby.
If you can, bring a potluck dish, or something, for the group and
libations. If you want, bring whatever you want to put on the barbee.
These giant pit fire events are always lots of fun and a chance to hang
out with other potters. It doesn't matter if you don't know anyone when
you arrive. You will meet many kindly clay folks and make new friends
before you leave.
If you can; let me know you are comming. It will help with the
planning. If not, well, just show up.

Terry,
Here in the Southern Appalachians we use beagles for huntin' coons and such.
I am assuming that the beagles of which you speak, often come with cream
cheese! ;-) All in fun!
