Ok, guys, here is an update for those 11 of you who are waiting to try out
the "non-tongs". (I know I said 10, but what the heck, you wanted em!)
My welding buddy down the road FINALLY finished the bending jig. Took him
forever. Oh well, he has other work too. I forgive him.
I spent all day working with it. Not bad. Stripped a nut, had to tap it
out. I see some changes that will make the Non Tongs come together faster.
I'll have my welder guy make the changes after the trial. Ran out of
acetylene. Thats a 3 mile drive to turn in my bottle. Still, I got half
of the steel bent for the trial, and all of the handles drilled. Lynch
pins will be in thursday, but I have enough to finish four or five.
I got everything set up with Fed Ex with the account so that the prepaid
return labels are ready to go. (hope not to many get used!)
So, hope to start shipping wednesday to those first on the list. I think
that would be Beth and Marcia, but have to check.
All day on a concrete floor. My feet are killing me. Couch time.
Pots drying slow, its been cool.
