multiples of texas

Dannon, the plural of Texas is, I believe, Texii. It is from the greek
"tekhsus", meaning "godforsaken land of scrub, unbearable humidity, and
cheap mail-order computers. Also, beer."

Admittedly, my experience with Texas has been limited to Houston in
July, and South Padre Island at Spring Break. Neither one would be
something I'd want described in a travel brochure.

But, ya gotta love a state with drive-through liquor AND ammunition
stores. Is this a great country or what?

Please forgive this all of you who live there, because I've lived there too, and have lots of friends and fond memories, but honest to goodness, isn't one Texas enough for anyone. I mean the thought of *multiples* is enough to make anyone shake in their boots

formerly of texas, now of connecticut and originally from the greatest state of all - new york!

Hi Christy,

It is true...if not that there are contiguous of them, but
as 'multiple-personalities'...as wax or wane to answer
various matters as interest them, or as occupy the same
'space' more or less...or different dimensions of (the same)
space.

There are many 'Texas', even as there are many 'America'...

There is, as usual, the 'first-born', or original, and
whatever it's realized of potentialities...and there are the
compensatory valences as assume something of a life of their
own...or seem to, compellingly even...

It can get confuseing sometimes...

Integration may take a long time, or never happen
anyway...non-assimilation of those influences in response to
which the valences arise, or, the resistance to those
influences in-effect, being the fractionating dynamic.

Just 'like' with people...

Houston in July? South Padre at Spring Break? Well, as
Huck Finn said of Pap when he kicked a hard object when
the toes were out of his shoes: "T'warn't good judgment".
