more interesting title.
I have the option to purchase several Evenheat kilns that were left on
a friends property. Both have what appears to be good firebrick & have
on/off switches and sitters which is fine. However, one has what looks
to be an orange coating on the firebrick (almost terra cotta like in
color) and the other has what appears to be good firebrick, the problem
being it is NOT surrounded by insulation or stainless steel. the
firebrick are held together by steel bands and the control panel is attached
to the brick.
Advise?
