shino problem

I'm sorry I wasn't clearer about my problem. The piece is not high fired,
just bisqued and glazed. This particular shino has behaved this way before.
I have tried to wash whole pots after being dipped in the shino and have
been unable to reglaze even with the same glaze, even after sanding, even
after scrubbing and rebisquing. The wax is not a problem on this piece--the
shino just resists a decent application of glaze in the bare areas. Thanks
for your responses. I think I will try the white glue idea and see if that
solves the problem. I also appreciated the tip about filling in spots on
already fired pieces. Thanks. Connie

Is the shino mixed real well?

Is it too thick? Do you dip it too long? Like more than a second?

Too much clay in the shino?
