The deadline for applications for Peninsula Open Studios is fast
approaching. To participate this November your application must be received
by July 15, 2003. Our website, www.PeninsulaOpenStudios.org has a
downloadable application and all the information you'll need to learn more
about the event.
Consider Peninsula Open Studios if you're looking for an indoor venue this
holiday season. Remember, many of the art lovers visiting your studio will
be getting an early start on their shopping. If you need a place to show
your work, host sites are available. This year's event is being held the
first three weekends in November throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara
counties:
November 1-2, 2003: Mountain View and North,
November 8-9, 2003: All San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties,
November 15-16, 2003: Sunnyvale and South
In addition to the weekend events, you'll be able to participate in the
preview exhibition at The Presidio in San Francisco from September 27
through November 16, and in one local preview exhibition for the month of
November:
a.. Elizabeth Norton Gallery, Palo Alto, or
b.. Cogswell College Gallery, Sunnyvale, or
c.. 25th Avenue Gallery, San Mateo
You'll get a color image of your artwork in our catalog, and your own page
on our website for an entire year with:
a.. 3 images of your work,
b.. your artist statement,
c.. an optional photo of you,
d.. a map and directions to your site,
e.. a photo of your site, and
f.. if you have your own web site, we'll provide a link.
Again, the deadline for applications is July 15, 2003. Application and
