I'm
getting horrible crazing with all of the above.
Well Jen,
I get crazed myself ...all the time...Almost every time I get in =
the car....Beautiful Gloria likes to craze me alot, I thinkHEHE(don't =
tell her I said that; she will make me crazy)....Sometimes I am even =
pre-crazed when I wake up in the morning, from what went on last =
night....Having kids crazes your ass off....
If you were talking about the little cracks in the glaze that god =
sometimes let you have....Those are called crackle....wonderful crackle, =
I believe is the technical term....After a bowl has been used for coffee =
every day for a year or so those little cracks stain brown and become =
the coolest part of the piece....If you are transfering ownership of =
such a piece to someone else you must splain that to them like Lucy.....
Doing that stain thing before the transfer is hard because it is =
expensive to hire a crew to come in and drink coffee out of your stuff =
every morning....and if YOU ever get one stained real good you will =
never let it go....I had a nice "Blues Bowl with Dancers" that I used =
every day for a year or so and then I met my brother, Spirit Raven, for =
a trailride in Missouri....I meant to bring him some pots but somehow =
they got left at home, so rather than not gift him anything I was forced =
to give him my precious.......My precious....My =
precious....sniffsniff......It might have saved my life though cause I =
was catching myself sometimes floating off through the field of tiny =
brown lines whilst driving down LBJ FreewayACK....Those stains imply =
history which is likely the most valuable asset a pot can have...Even a =
crappy pot that is 1000 years old is way cool....Wonderful crackle is =
one way to get there...
Now, if you see some other potter trying to foist such pots on the =
ignorant public, you say loudly, "This pot is HORRIBLY CRAZED; won't =
nasty bacterias fester in there and kill my whole =
family??!?!?!??!"HOHOHO....If it is the guy in the next booth you might =
even say, "I have some nice wonderful crackle glazed pots over here in =
my booth but I would never offer HORRIBLY CRAZED pots like this guy, I =
hope he has insurance so when the disease that grows in those crazes has =
his customers dropping like flies!!!!! they can at least sue him(sue a =
potterHAHAHA....HOHOHO)"....
If you were looking for a way to STOP your pots from having =
wonderful crackle, I'm afraid I wasn't much help, huh?.....It has =
something to do with numbers and stuff like those shrink rulers, and if =
you mess with it much you might get crazed....I do

indulgences and snakes handy"
