I think it is important to remember that in art, or craft, as in food,
there is a gamut of possibilities for all tastes.

Some people like Beluga caviar, which is delicious, but no more delicious
than freshly baked real bread with real butter.

There is no hierarchy in tastes ; there are differences, in education or
opportunity .; ("eww, eat raw fish..sushi I think not"...or "grits?
yuccch"))

I love certain artists with passion and appreciate others intellectually
and respect all honest efforts. Money, success or fame are useless
measurements..maybe only arrows to direct inspection. It is always the
internal self that knows what works for you, not unlike that chemical
click when you meet the right person.

Same with pots, food and people.

Trust your heart and eyes ;they get educated , and learn to know clearly
what matters to YOU.

As for the fashionable , the chic, the front runners ,the truly great, ,
time will tell even if we can't. So.....respect the efforts and
admire the results, but there is no need to idolize the winners ; we all
run in the same race, and we can do no more than our best.
