Hi Ivor,
We have coresponded before, some 25 years ago i think. when i wrote the
"Handbook for Australian Potters" with janet DeBoos and Len Smith (another
clayarter).
I remember you wrote me a letter with some query or other, that was before
the internet.
re silver brazing, i use a 40% silver/copper brazing rod for some fine
Stainless steel sculptural work, where i want to join say copper, bronze and
stainless steel together, for mobiles.
Tig is not appropriate here. the borax flux works better with a little
fluorine in it for this combo. This is where the oxy works best. The right
tool for the right job.
