i do not advocate, or have in my posts that there is a
simple, single formula for firing.
it depends on the pots, and the potter.
the look you want.
i have been doing experiments so that
we can find new ways. with new science.
no one has to use them, or try them.
if you are content, love your pots and your
success is fine...keep doing it.
if you are content with a loss factor of 35 percent...so
be it. but, i know many working potters who could
not afford a high loss percentage. it would break
their bank. i would love to help them.
but, there are other ways...do what you wish.
not a bit of skin off my nose.
