Yes you are right I bought once only one and it is among the treasure -
books I have. It kind of deterred me to leave my credit number to a fax
machine otherwise I would sign myself on this beautiful esthetic
magazine.

Last week we "did" magazines.

Two ps.s Ceramics Monthly is "essential" for those of us who can't,
won't,
don't go to galleries and shows and like that. It is a world review of
what
the heck is going on in clay. Many of its articles do cover more
unusual
techniques and that also keeps one up to date. As to Letters and
Comments
--well, erg, duh, it is nice to know what others are thinking and read
it in
more than snippets.

However NO ONE MENTIONNED CERAMIC REVIEW A GREAT GREAT GREAT MAGAZINE.

There is right now a very lovable Cheerios (breakfast cereal) commercial
on
TV where this little kid brings his sleeping parents bowls of Cheerios
because it is supposed to keep their cholesterol down. The father wakes
up
and bleary eyed starts to eat and says : Thank you. Very thoughtful
but
very early. Same with CR. Very excellent but very pricey.

Again I wonder why the Brits on the list won't speak up for their own!

Anyway. Many on the list in the US could subscribe and it certainly is
a
magazine that if I belonged to a school or co-op or some such I would
collect $ for a subscription.
