Nope, sorry, don't have it, the mineral or the
enlightenment. Maybe it's a discussion in the archives
but not a subject line. So, could one of the glaze
gurus dispense some knowledge on the subject. I know
that when I first started selling supplies, spodumene
the mineral disappeared faster than gerstly borate at
a potter's fire sale (bad choice of words there). Then
along came the current spodumene the "chemical" from
down-under and viola', no more flameware. What is the
difference?

And what's with those 55 lb. bags? We know you
Aussie's are tough, but we've gone soft since
fireclay, silica, plaster, etc., started getting
packaged in 50 lb. units instead of 100 pounders. That
has meant more to your backs than any wedgie chair. I
have used that chair and I kept falling off, I sit
side-sattle I guess. It is like anything else, if it
works for you, it is the best thing since sliced
bread.
