ot/fluff: firing question

If I was still in my studio in Blue Lake, CA, I could help with this. I
built a large car kiln for that studio, and initially PG&E only gave me the
standard 7 WCI gas pressure. On the first bisque I barely made it to
temperature, so I called them up and they sent their engineers out. They
boosted the pressure to 12 WCI, which more than did the trick. They were
impressed with the kiln, and when they saw the long, narrow shape of the
kiln car, one of them said "Well, if the pottery doesn't work out, you could
always do custom cremations!"

Hey Vince....

I think they had a great idea!
Just think.... they bring you the body
You cover it in slabs poke a few holes in it,
make a few decorative designs,
perhaps a stamp, coil or sprig here or there
and fire away.
You'll make million$........and no one will
hassle you about firing!
Then the loved ones will have a sarcophagus
with their family member. Sounds like a great idea to me.
You can call it a casket kiln instead of a car kiln.
Now for those limited to a electric kiln.... we'll have to
be a bit imaginative to make it fit.

Can you tell I'm in a weird mood???
Daughter moving home after 7 years out of the house.
Bringing a cat.... and hubby is very allergic to cats.
So I am cleaning and making space in the garage plus assembling a kennel.
Getting #1 and only son to clean up the rooms he messes up.
And last but not least I took all my work to a show and now need to make
enough work for another show coming up Aug. 8th..... ACCCK.......
I love it... ain't life great? I wouldn't change a thing!
