one of my coffee mugs (fired at cone 10, and has already been through =
loads of use) handles broke off. Do you know what can cause something =
like this to happen so long after it has been fired? It has been a =
year, and she was having a drink and it just broke????? Any suggestions =
to keep this from happening in the future?
Thanks....Gigia

YOU MIGHT TAKE A LOOK AT HOW BENNINGTON POTTERY SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. THEIR
HANDLES ARE ALL CONNECTED TO THE MUG AT ONE POINT RATHER THAN THREE POINTS.
THIS GIVES A MUCH LARGER AREA OF CONTACT TO THE MUG AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A
BROKEN ONE SO FAR.
