Phil Poburka thought I was kidding about my sour cherry juice. I ain't
kidding about my juices.
Antioxidants are naturally occurring substances found in fruits and veggies.
These have been found to fight the free radicals associated with cancer,
heart disease and the effects of ageing.
20 sour cherries or 20 blueberries serve up as much antioxidant power as 5
servings of carrots, broccoli etc.
The deep blues and reds of sour cherries and blueberries have many health
benefits including improved night vision. blueberries are dubbed as "vision
food" in Japan where sales have quadrupled in the past few years.
We buy our reds and blues in concentrate form and take them everyday.
Because of my believe in the red pigments i also include a bottle of wine in
our daily diet. A nice dark red one. Only for the medicial benefits ya
understand.

My grandpa swore by sour cherries for keeping his arthritis at bay. He
lived to age 98, and was mobile, and eating cherries, to his very last day.

Sue in Kalamazoo, MI who picked 20 pounds of blueberries this weekend, some
the size of marbles!
