I have been reading about gas vs. electric kilns and see many references to
oxidation & reduction. Would someone please elabrate on these terms for me?
I think I understand that reduction can only be done in a gas kiln, but
what are the effects of both? I guess I am one of those who would like to
achieve a gas fired look in an electric kiln. Thanks for your continued
patience with the newbie! Gaye
