Calling all glaze gurus:

I have a commission to make some dinnerware for a delightful lady. She
wants me to "come close" to the glaze she has on some pieces more than 30
years old. The glaze is a wonderful satin matt, a slightly variegated
slate-gray-blue. I call the color "Wright Whale Grey." Even after thirty
years of use, the plate shows only fading, and very little wear or utensil
markings.

The pieces came from a now-defunct factory in Europe, so finding the recipes
would be nigh-to-impossible. I have been researching glazes in the archives
and in my databases, other e-websites, and various texts I have at home.
Prior to setting up some test tiles, I'd like to ask if anyone has a glaze
recipe they'd be willing to share that sounds like what I'm trying to match?

I fire at Cone 6, on porcelanous body (Standard 365, and Helios), in a
neutral atmosphere.

Can someone give me some clues?

Thanks in advance,
