I want to thank everyone, who sent me advice on firing jars with screw-on=
lids. I fired the first one successfully at Cone 10 reduction. It did not=
stick (threads well-coated with alumna/wax), and did not explode! I did n=
ot
screw it down completely. No warpage either. =
I appreciate all the help and am happy to report success!
