Kelly, have you, or Dave, tried my Albany Slip substitute?

Redart Clay 72
EPK 5
Talc 5
Soda feldspar 8
Whiting 10
Total 100

Mix well and put in your "Albany Slip" container. When a recipe calls for
Albany, weigh and add the same amount of this.
I've had good results @ cone 10, and it's very economical.

David et. al. .... your Albany Sub also works well in cone 6 oxidation
glazes. I have tried three different Soda Feldspars with this formula, and cannot
tell the difference between them as far as glaze results. Thanks for your
research.

I'm intrigued by the amounts of whiting, EPK, and Talc!! Somethings keeping
that high % of Redart stable at ^10. On it's own I heard mention it would
bloat. I believe you and remain most impressed by your approach to work and
vast practical knowledge the glaze materials!!

PS enjoying my Hendley screw cap bottle.
