Hello and Kia Ora,=0D

This email from Tom prompts me to submit my experience of arthritis.=0D

years. Finally, about 10 months ago I began taking vioxx 12.5 mgm a day a=
nd=0D
it seemed to help for a while. >=0D

About 20 years ago I was in considerable pain in the hands and went to th=
e
doctor who told me I had arthritis (after having a blood test) and that
there was nothing he could do for me as I was not in favour of medication
unless it was absolutely essential.=0D
I am not a nut about homeopathy but believe in going natural where possib=
le.
To cut a long story short I read up all the information I had concerning
vitamins and minerals and started to take dolomite, as sold by the health
shops (not from the bag in the pottery.)=0D
Within 3 weeks the pain had disappeared and swollen joints which had
troubled me since a sixteen year old became more normal. This was 25 year=
s
ago and I have continued to take dolomite all that time. I am 78 years ol=
d
this year and still potting for pleasure and had a blood test a few weeks
ago which said there was no sign of arthritis. It is much better known no=
w
that dolomite is a calcium/ magnesium material and these two are essentia=
l
for out health especially magnesium.=0D
Several friends in the pottery world have followed the same process and I
have not heard any of them contradict my theory about this easy and
inexpensive way of preventing the terrible pain arthritis can cause. My
doctor concurs with what I do (he too is of the homeopathic persuasion) a=
nd
has actually added other magnesium tablets to my initial course of remedy=

I really do hope this may assist other potters to cope with their arthrit=
is
and good luck Tom for your future.=0D

Regards and Best wishes, Maggie =0D
