Hey Everyone,
Done with my summer travels. Back at Miriam's Kitchen for my final 10 days
after 5 1/2 years. My replacement is here...wow, I had no idea how much I
knew! I sit and talk with her for eight hours a day, non stop, she
patiently takes notes. Too bad we don't know how to do the Vulcan brain
meld from Star Trek.
So, while I was gone on one of my trips, my wonderful partner surprised me
on my return with...a new studio! Well, same studio, just new colorful
paint on the walls, an air conditioner installed, a new work and wedging
table in place, twice as much shelving...and much much much more room, as he
moved all my dry chemicals to the garage and set up a work space for me
there...wow. Unbelievable.
It's a studio worthy of a fulltime potter, which, it seems, I will be very
soon!
