Thank you very much to the fellow potters who send so much useful information.

I am an Australian potter born in Bolivia. Trained and developed my skills at several TAFE colleges and finished my B.A.Honours at Monash University, Caulfield Campus in Melbourne.

After NCECA 2000 where I participated in the international visitors slide show, as a result of an invitation to exchange lodge for work, New Mexico became my home for the following years. This has been a most enriching experience as it was wonderful to share a studio space and be involved in the production side as well.

Having heard about a strong art community in the Carolinas and attending a conference by Mark Hewitt at college in Melbourne moves me to send this message to the world.

I was trained as a production potter. Have strong skills in hanbuilding.
Good knowledge about glazes, studied the Ian Curry systems and apply them to create my own, you can see them in close ups in my web page, Pimachi series. Having attended several collegues I am familiar with most kilns, electric, gas, anagamas.

I would like to be close to a ceramics community, work with clay, talk clay and dream clay again. My needs are very basic and covered by myself, have my own transport and would like to exchange lodge for clay work, with a possibility to continue developing my staff and selling it.

Could you please send this to your local newsletter?

Thank you again
