Lilly you lost me on that one. Can't remember anyone
saying they were a God but mythology says they were
many. Gurus seem to be the term used more so by others
than by the guru's themselves. They know who they are
and seldom need to use the term to define their great
skills. Artists - We need all we can conjure up! Given
the rate things are going it would be nice to see any
new development to include 'Newbies' coming in here
and asking mundane questions. The moderator can decide
best how to deal with that.
Last but not least, like this statement, the amount of
space used if that was the issue regarding a post was
less a pain to read than a re-cap on why we clog up
the site with too many posts. Its just more space with
words and moving no faster than ever before.

Has anyone heard anything new at all in regards to
Arti? Its time someone gave us an up-date.

Tom Sawyer, sorry to hear about your eye problem.
You'd think that someone would have known about side
effects such as raising blood pressure in some
individuals would have been easily detected. I have
white coat hyper-tension but it creeps up and down and
medications sometimes effects this but with the
figures you stated I only see rise upon sitting down
in the lobby for an exam. I have to carry my readings
in with me or otherwise they think I am about to pop
an artery. I wish you well and hope your pottery is
not effected by this.

To those who I am exchanging some pieces with. Thank
you dearly for joining in. Most are packed and are
ready to go out. I wish I had time right now to build
a nice shadow box for exhibiting the mug exchanges and
other smaller pieces in. I think that will be my next
rainy day project! I love pottery of all kinds and
simply enjoy having pottery around me from people all
over the world. It my safety net, something to inspire
me and guide me along when I get dulled or tired and
need a lift.

Maybe if this group has any issues with newbie
questions or mundane ideas, perhaps we need a starter
group or a place for them? (Don't want to start one
nor propose one should be started). Clayart should be
for everyone willing or brave enough to stick their
toes out to get answered logically. Irrational
behavior by Arti was frowned on in the past. Things
changed opinions and suddenly formed new ones! To
what point is anything acceptable or denied? A persons
worth is whatever they deem worthy. A persons thoughts
is their own till shared, on occasion their opinions
or thoughts are disrupted and subject to being
whittled down or exposed as out of charector. Too
often we fail others by failing ourselves. If someone
trully needed to know what an egg-plant is then would
it be just as easy to answer them as it would be to
scold them? Privately would be preferred unless the
group had taken a poll position on it. We are from all
walks of life and our thought processes vary greatly.
I wish tolerance was considered a priority and
humility followed. Tom Buck helped me undestand
something a long time ago. I wrote to much, too often.
I now try NOT to write and if I do its a consolidated
effort to reach out and share views covering lots of
ground. I miss the editions of glaze recipes that we
used to hash over. That has all but ended! I still
miss Mary Smith and many others and now even Arti is
off the air for awhile? Most anything a person would
want is acceptance and love. We carry a lot of
information and education on many topics, surely we
could find room to carry a little additional concern
for a new *Artist*. And I must say, I love the term
Guru. How about Sage or Counselor? Just doesnt have
the same ring to it. Guru-nomics of ^6 oxidation
glazes would be a great seller.
