2005 Summer Workshop

ClaySpace on Puget Sound

CARA MOCZYGEMBA

CLAY COLLAGE: If you enjoy texture, mystery,archaeology and love recycling
found objects into art this workshop is a must! In this 3 day hands-on
workshop you will learn to incorporate figurative handbuilding techniques
with
slip casting and the use of found objects to create collage-like surfaces.
Cara is dynamite at combining everday objects into wonderful "antiquated" or
shrine-like forms. Low-fire glazing techniques on finished bisque ware will
also be demonstrated. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
