I thought I might as well pass this on to the list, in case some Ontario
readers or anyone from the US / Ontario border region might be interested.
Note: the $4500 price asked for this 27 cu. ft. propane kiln is in
Canadian dollars. When converted to US dollars, the amount is roughly
$3300.
Also note that the vendor can be reached only by land line or cell
phone. Location is probably about a half an hour west of Toronto.

PROPANE KILN FOR SALE:
I have a crossdraft 27 cubic foot (inner firing area) propane fired kiln
for sale. It has been fired maybe 8 times. As a novice I got it to cone
11 in 8 hours and the builder, an electrical engineer, states it should
fire to cone 10 in 6 hours. It takes at least 2 and a half days to cool.
I have approximately 35 kiln shelves, boxes of cones, kiln shelf
supports, and lots of chemicals that can go with the kiln. The bricks
are 2600 soft brick. The kiln was made to be moved. The door swings
open. The cost is $4500 which is a great price but I realize that the
move will probably necessitate using a small crane and large pickup
truck or small flatbed truck.
