Howdy all,
Fun fun fun fun fun fun fun.
Had my second day of ceramics class here at Baylor. Lovin'
lovin' lovin' lovin' lovin' it. I may know a few more facts
than the others in the class (intro to ceramics) but there
is soooooooooo much practical stuff that I DO NOT know.
Mixed clay today for the class. Soldner. Man, I've been
reading so many CMs lately I kept looking around for the=20
old naked guy! (Yes, I know who he is) Very cool. I had
so much fun that when my batch was done I hung around to=20
help the other groups with theirs. Learn by doing, doing,
doing. Instructor's got a free assistant now.
I know, I know. I shouldn't be getting so excited about
mixing clay, but I have only ever thrown from a box and=20
this is another baby step toward my goal (I think David
has stopped trying to talk me out of it, but his hammer
critiques are still pretty tuff).
Alls I can say folks is, "Ha! 25 pounds isn't going to be
near enough, teacher."
