Has anyone ever heard of the Carmel Kiln Company or know anything about it?
I recently acquired what appears to be an advertising tile (plaque size)
made by this company. It is maroon/brown with circular indents and the
words "Carmel Kiln Company" across the top. I asked an antique tile dealer
who told me she has never been able to find out anything about the company
in her 20 years of work. (She has come across similar tiles by them every
now and then.)
I thought if anyone would know it would be clayarters! Any info would be
appreciated.
