Please could all Clayarters who have my address saved in their
e-mail address book look and check if it is saved under janet
That is just >> janet << lower case no capital "J" or anything
else as the name and then my e-mail address EITHER
janet@the-coa.org.uk OR janet@the-chapel-of-art.freeserve.co.uk
If you do, especially if you have an earthlink address yourself
(although that may be spoofed too), then you may well be infected
with the W32.Mimail.A@mm nasty! To get rid of it, you can
download a tool from http://securityresponse.symantec.com
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/FxMimail.exe is what you are
looking for.
If you are running XP please follow their advice about disabling
System Restore until after you have run the fix tool. You do not
need to have Symantec`s anti-virus programme installed on your PC
for this stand-alone tool to work, but it will get rid of the
nasty.
At the moment, Acers/Clayart is being bombarded with mail
supposedly from me, but that is not the case! Honestly! Cross my
heart and hope to die, Joyce!
