I have a Skutt C181 with an extra blank ring for sale. It has a limit =
timer. The kiln sitter tube is broken on one side. Includes 2 1/2 =
shelves and some posts. Rated to and fires to ^6. 2 peeps. Bricks, =
elements and casing all in very good condition. Pics available upon =
request. I paid $350 for it and have only fired it twice (to ^6 both =
times). I just want to get my money back out of it. That's $350 =
Canadian folks, not USF.
Reason for sale: I need the room!=20
It has been a tough year sales wise; but I've got some angels looking =
over my shoulders. Just as my 16 old 7 cube kiln was sputtering it's =
last, a kind patron stepped forward and offered me 0% financing to =
purchase a new kiln. I can pay it off any time within a calendar year. =
Anticipated Fall sales should pay it off by Christmas (can you see my =
crossed fingers?).
I've ordered a Tucker Coneart (Shimpo) 7 cube ^10 rated computer =
controlled kiln with floor element. It will be ITC'd prior to delivery =
(both elements and bricks). I will keep my old 7 cube and use it for =
bisque firing until elements die. I hope then to convert it to a gas =
kiln (for fun). My old kiln seldom fired evenly - requiring me to =
babysit the damn thing every firing. The new kiln is 3 zone controlled =
by 'puter. Should fire a bit more consistently ;-) Also I'm looking =
forward to new things like ramping
I'm located between Windsor and Toronto only 10 kms (6 miles) from a =
major highway.
